A broken beaker shouldn't put an end to getting great coffee-press coffee, nor should you have to purchase another whole set. This glass replacement beaker is just the thing. Use it as a replacement or as an extra. Meant to fit with all 34-ounce coffee-press sets, this style works with all Bruntmor 8-cup coffee presses. Constructed of glass with an easy-pour spout, the beaker is safe to clean in the dishwasher.

This glass beaker appears to be an ALMOST exact replacement for the Boodum beaker and seems to be of the same general quality. The only issue is that the spout is about 1/4-inch larger and deeper than the Bodum, so that when you insert the beaker into the steel handle assembly, the beaker rests ON THE SPOUT on the top ring, not on the bottom of the handle. (A design flaw- the little spout can't take the stress from pushing down the plunger.) It would seem to be why a bunch of reviews here noted that the spout broke off. I stuck about 3/8-inch thick layer of cork adhesive circles (meant for the bottom of furniture etc) on the steel at the bottom of the handle assembly, so as to support the beaker with the spout sitting above the top ring, not resting on the top ring. See photo. I'll come back and tell how it works out after a few weeks of use. (Also- They're serious about not using steel spoons to stir the coffee, I suppose that's what cracked my Boodum.)

I accidentally cracked the bottom of the glass of my french press and didn't want to purchase a whole new set. Luckily there are several replacement options on Amazon. I chose this one in particular based on the price and the measurement. My french press doesn't have a brand name anywhere so I figured no need to buy the bodum brand (which was going for $20 -- it would cost just another $5 for a new set at TJ Maxx so no thanks!)My old one measured 3 7/8" by 7". This fit perfectly. It's sliiiightly shorter than the old glassware but that's fine. The pour spout is also not centered, but for the price I wasn't expecting high end quality. As long as it fits and pours coffee in the morning, I'm good! I read some reviews that complained about how the filter doesn't go down all the way to the bottom. I tested both the old and the new one and neither glassware allowed the plunger to hit the bottom (bc the height of the glass is too tall). My last photo shows the new one on the left and the old one on the right. Hope this helps!

I’m a bit disappointed as it doesn’t fit my French press well (which I also purchased on amazon). It’s a bit too wide and doesn’t go all the way to the bottom of the stainless container. The French press top also isn’t a good fit...the beaker is all around too wide to fit in my press. It will do it’s job (it’s still narrow enough to not separate from the films and keeps the grounds out) but it’s not exactly universal...worth it if you don’t mind it not fitting as it’s practically half the price of others, but there’s never a guarantee it’ll fit when buying online. I guess I’m just picky! But still works so I’m appropriately satisfied.

I purchased 2, one for each of 2 different models of 34 ounce Bodum French Press. This beaker fits my chrome model but not my plastic model. Trying to force the beaker to fit in the red plastic Bodum caused the plastic to break where it cradles the bottom of the beaker.

Surprisingly, this fit my coffee press. It wasn't a perfect fit but the difference is barely noticeable - it's a tiny bit fatter than the original but all works fine.

We are on our 3rd beaker. The first one lasted until I accidently broke it. Second one was a little too small for holder even though it was supposed to be the exact same...it fell out of holder when hot water was added. Customer service promptly sent a replacement beaker and paid for return of the broken one. Would definitely buy from this seller again.

Got a Bodum French press at Goodwill that had a broken beaker. This one fits perfectly. Also doesn’t have all the annoying writing and labeling that the name brand one does!

I broke my original OXO glass carafe while I was hand washing it in the sink. The official OXO replacement was a little more expensive and this one had good reviews, so I decided to purchase this one to save some money. It fits in the metal sleeve/holder perfectly! No complaints. I can finally drink my coffee again.

This is an excellent replacement for a French press. My family's only complaint is with the durability of these beakers in general: my girlfriend broke one while washing it out by dropping it ~2 inches into the sink; I broke a replacement six months later by hitting the base too hard to clear coffee grinds out of the bottom of it.Overall it is a good product. Our misuse was the cause of failure.

I broke my French press.. I was truly skeptical when I bought this. Every product has mixed reviews. Took a chance on this and can’t even tell that it’s not the original. I’ve had it now for several months and if it were to break again, I’d buy another one of these.

I was a doofus and dropped my original Bodum french press glass in the sink on some dishes. Wanted a relatively inexpensive replacement and this fit the bill. I actually like that it doesn't have an labeling on it as well.

Very close to original and works just as well with our Bodum brand french press. I'm sure it will eventually break, just as the original did and we will buy this again. Great value without compromises

So far, so good on durability. Overpriced - I can find an entire new French press on sale in a bricks and mortar store for the same price being charged here for only the carafe.

I had broken my original Bodum glass and ordered this as replacement due to price. I actually like it even more than the original. The shape of the spout is a little different, but easier to pour.

This product works on the oxo good grips french press, which is the best press I've had so happy I can still use it.The spout is actually a bit better than the original too.Don't know why someone said it doesn't work with this, because it's perfect.

The original beaker on the super fancy Bodum press we got as a gift cracked while cleaning it... spout popped right off! This beaker has a taken a bump or two and his holding up to nearly daily (ab)use.

Soon after purchase, my glass pour spout cracked and partially fell off from being bumped slightly with something hard (a pot I think), as mentioned in at least one other review. But at half the price, this thing is still durable, fits a BonJour 8-cup and takes heat/cold shock just fine. This thing lasted me 6 months, other than the spout issue, with heavy office use (2-6 times a day). The BonJour ones last just as long, but maybe with the spout intact. Also, these don't fit perfectly. I have ordered more than one and they come in different diameters. One was loose in my holder, while the other one was way too tight.

Good cheap replacement for a broken beaker. Glass is thinner and it feels that way. I think the pouring spout is much better than the original. Fits well in my French press frame and does the job

I bought this to replace the glass in my Bodum French press when it cracked. I was a little concerned because different brands sometimes don't quite for properly. This one actually fit perfectly. It doesn't have writing or graduations on it so I marked with marker the fill line for a single cup but otherwise I'm VERY happy with this carafe. It shipped same day and arrived before the Bodum brand one even shipped. Thanks!

Bought to replace a broken beaker for my Bodum Chambord french press. Unfortunately, the pouring lip of the Bruntmor Universal Replacement beaker is too deep, making contact with the metal frame of the Bodum Chambord. This prevents the beaker from seating properly in the metal frame. Also, the top of the Bruntmor Universal Replacement beaker is flared, which does not allow the lid/press assembly of the Bodum Chambord to seat properly. All in all, this is a very poor choice if your are replacing the beaker of your Bodum Chambord.Otherwise this appears to be a well made, quality beaker. It just doesn't fit my Bodum press, despite claims otherwise.

Ignore the part where it says "8-cups", and the other place where it says "8 cup French Press". I kept putting off ordering this piece because the 8 cups threw me off. I have no idea why it says that.Correctly stated, it is close to 34oz. in capacity. This beaker fits my ≈ 4 Cups (34oz.) Bodum french press stand.The last two beakers that I had for my french press broke. Only time will tell how this one stands up.

My clumsy husband broke the original that came with my coffee press while doing dishes. After reading some reviews, I decided to go with this product and I am extremely happy. Very sturdy...better quality than the original that came with my coffee press.

I have a Bodem French press and I think this is a better replacement carafe as it is just a little bit thicker so I’m hoping it won’t break is easy as the Bodem glass. But as others have mentioned it is a little tight in the Bodem metal frame - I just ended up unscrewing the assembly and adding one flat washer in between the frame so I can tighten the screw - it works great.

These are great and fit my french press PERFECTLY. I will be back for more (as I tend to drop important things, like my morning coffee press...). PLUS when I bought 2 of them, it was like 2 cents over the free shipping amount for amazon's free shipping/prime dealio, so that was cool.

Does the job, good quality. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because it is about a half an inch from fitting into my french press (KONA). Looks slightly awkward since it doesn't really fit, but like I said, it does the job.

Got it as a replacement for one that broke. Unfortunately, the stainless steel-banded handle on the one that broke is just a tiny bit too small for the diameter of this replacement beaker. The fault here is not at all in the replacement beaker -- rather in the off-brand that was the one that broke. Dang. But I'll put this one aside as a spare for when another French press glass carafe gets broken -- as it surely will.

I purchased this as a replacement for a French press I had bought from the same company in a retail location some time ago and thought my problems were solved. It was just a little bit of a tighter fit than than the original but with a little soap I got it to slide in. However, a few days later I noticed a thin hairline crack had developed and I hadn't dropped it or anything but since it was all I had and I have to have my coffee I decided to keep using it as it didn't leak. All was well and my mornings were calm again.Then about a week after I had noticed the crack the spout on the beaker cracked more and broke off. To date I am still using it until it gives up the ghost completely. I would order a replacement but I am wary of the same thing happening. Also I live way out in the stick and ahve to drive a 50 mile round trip to return this thing and, well.. I have to have my coffee....

When you make French press coffee every morning -- okay, sometimes every morning and afternoon -- you're bound to drop the carafe at some point. Then you'll go to your press's manufacturer and think, "For that amount of money for a replacement carafe, I might as well buy a new press."This beaker is here to rescue you from unnecessarily expensive replacements. I was worried that it might not fit into my brand-name French press, but for less than half the cost of the brand-name beaker, it seemed worth it to try. It fit perfectly! When (in my household, it's not if, but when) I break another carafe, I'm ordering this replacement immediately. At this price, I might even order one as a backup....

My wife has a tendency to break these beakers, not the fault of the manufacturer, but the fault of a small kitchen! These replacements fit perfectly and hold up well to normal use, at a much better price point than the name brand replacement. So we have bought several of these and remain happy.

This product rates a 5 star review...except... it DOES NOT fit the Bodum Chambord 8 cup French Press Coffee Maker, 34 oz., ChromeBodum Chambord 8 cup French Press Coffee Maker, 34 oz., Chrome which is why I bought it. It's description said it was, "Meant to fit with all 34-ounce coffee-press sets." However it doesn't. It's too wide for the above mentioned press. Got to say though, I was very impressed with its quality. Was sad to have to return it. I so wish it had fit! I couldn't bring myself to give it less than 4 stars 'cause the quality was so good, but couldn't give it more 'cause the product description was so misleading.

I love my Bruntmor coffee press, and this was to replace the original beaker in my current one. Their beakers are the highest quality, top of the line Borosilicate Glass but.......... if your husband loads the dishwasher with a stainless steel barbeque tong resting with its point against it.... not gonna make it. Surprisingly the original beaker just had a 1 inch stress crack instead of snapping in the dishwasher. Talk about "shock" resistant!
